Claudia & Rebecca's Review of GI Jane Bootcamp in Kent
GI Jane Bootcamp is the perfect destination for women looking to achieve their personal best when it comes to fitness. The military style exercise regime is incredibly rigorous, full of fun and the healthy meals are meticulously prepared and portioned to help your body to achieve its maximum performance...
I had a great time at GI Jane and highly recommend it if you are looking to get out of your comfort zone. It’s a great chance to improve your fitness, the days are structured and instructors are fun and focused on making sure your time is used in getting fitter and healthier. It showed me how much I can push myself and that my limits are much further than what I normally think. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is excellent (great variety and very healthy).

Fantastic boot camp! Hard and kind at the same time... Great group of girls and an outstanding trainer, who was firm but not crazy! I lost 3lbs and 4.5 inches in 3 days!

G.I Jane transformed my life! Thanks for the kick start I needed, the great food and of course the great trainers they were so professional especially Steveie P, he pushed me all the way just what I needed. I would recommend this activity to anybody who needs a push to get into the swing of training yourself eventually.

I booked the boot camp in a moment of bravado intending to do something to inspire me and kick start me. I have eaten relatively carefully and exercised for many years but as the big 50 was creeping towards me at a steady pace I wanted some input from outside professionals to get into a good shape.
But I am quite stubborn and don't like being told what to do so to book this was rather a challenge!
I arrived on the Fri with 7 others and I can honestly say we had a fabulous time. I cant fault the place - the Manor was gorgeous - I expected something much more basic but this is a private house that is used for other things also when the bootcamps not there and the rooms are very good, the food - although not masses of it was very good and really taught us all we were eating way more than we needed. The comment after finishing each main course was that was a lovely starter I wonder whats for mains?? But we all very quickly accepted and looked forward to the smaller portions.
We generally went to bed after the evening meal and the eve activity (dancing / dressing for your shape talk / nutrition etc ) so were in bed often for 8.30 which was amazingly refreshing - especially as we were having to get up for the 6.30am starts!! I didn't relish the prospect of doing this at first but again you very quickly got used to it and it was fun to see who was rushing down at 6.29!! The girls i met were from all walks of life but we all gelled very early on and developed into a very friendly and supportive group who really wanted each other to succeed - no competition between us - just supported each other to do their best.
I wondered if the "army PT instructors" might be a couple of gym bunnies brought in for the sessions - but no they are army PT instructors and boy did we know it!! They were fab - pushed us to work hard but made us have fun doing it - and they obviously really loved their work which obviously motiated us.
All too soon it was time to go home and the dreaded weigh in - from Fri to Mon I had lost nearly 6 lbs and 5 and a half inches - and felt it!!!
