REVĪVŌ is a short 20-minute drive from Bali’s International airport, and all guests receive complimentary VIP Fast track service if required. We were traveling only with carry-on and even despite of some additional testing for COVID19 we were off the plane and out meeting our driver in next to no time. Our private vehicle is fully air-conditioned and equipped with on-board Wi-Fi, so you can advise your loved one’s that you arrived safely and ideally to let you then disconnect on arrival. There is also cool towels and refreshments.
The resort design is very modern yet traditional, made up of three grand Balinese style villas, built using local wood and stone. The main zone contains the fitness centre, spa, restaurant, and eight of the luxury suites and nearby are two other four-suite villas with a communal pool, dining pavilion, living room, library and garden. Although spread across 8,000 square meters it does not feel overwhelming, but on the contrary warmth and friendliness exude from the staff and the service is attentive without being overbearing.
In total REVĪVŌ has sixteen suites and villas, with eight garden suites, six 1-bedroom villas, and two private pool villas with swimming pools surrounded by aromatic gardens. There is the option to secure a private 4-bedroom villa should you wish to do so and which includes the benefits of a 24/7 personal cook and butler.

The REMISSIŌ spa is set around a sparkling pool and tropical greenery and includes five double treatment rooms each with their own outdoor bath, there are also two hydro jet Vichy shower beds and nearby are the hot and cold plunge pools, a Jacuzzi, infrared saunas, steam rooms and a relaxing lounge area to enjoy your tea post treatment.
I enjoyed a relaxing aromatherapy massage and Shirodara treatment during my stay. I relished in the in-room sleep rituals including the use of light therapy using a specially designed device and an indulgent herbal bathtub ritual and slept incredibly well though I do recommend packing ear plugs in case of enthusiastic geckos.
They have a multi-function fitness facility that encompasses space to practice many different styles of yoga and meditation, a Pilates studio, a gym with floor to ceiling windows, a fifty-meter lap pool as well as sauna, steam room and hot and cold plunge pools for contrast therapy.
The gym is well equipped with a variety of machines, free weights and an area to practice yoga or Pilates. Ideal for guests looking to be challenged on a fitness holiday.
We took part in several MOVEŌ sessions including boxing and HIIT incorporating the TRX with trainer Jaka, we also joined yoga classes and practised Tibetan meditation.
NŪTRIŌ is the food and beverage program at REVĪVŌ, which includes a restaurant, “Nū”, a Bar, “Tri”, and a pool side lounge, “Ō” – when on a wellness program all meals are chosen for you, prepared in line with your dietary requirements, preferences and goals and possibly even your DNA.
We had all most of our meals in the main restaurant, where each dish is expertly plated, designed and flavoured. It was a delight to not have to make the decisions and each meal was delicious and more than adequate in size, of course you can adjust the meal plan during your wellness consultations or during your stay if you wish to do so. With an expert team this is an ideal location to take part in a nutrition-friendly holiday or even make the switch to a vegan or ketogenic diet under their expert guidance.

With a high staff to guest ratio nothing was too much trouble here, Sammy the General Manager and the wellness team are always available to assist during your stay, the many staff who make up the retreat are also incredibly professional and friendly, always smiling as you make your way around the resort.
Surrounded by lush tropical jungle and immaculate flowering gardens, there is a sense of serenity as you enter the grounds at REVĪVŌ that stays with you throughout. Gentle Balinese inspired music plays throughout the main areas and becomes the soundtrack to your personal wellness journey.
The perfect balance of relaxed, luxury and focused on results. REVĪVŌ is only a relatively new wellness retreat (opening March 2018) however they already have an exceptional offering and their ethos and meaning of their name ‘to live again’ is certainly delivered through their bespoke programming.
REVĪVŌ is a luxury wellness resort which is suitable for couples, solos and friends who are happy to share a room. Families are also welcome at REVĪVŌ and due to the design of this property would likely have their own space to preserve the peace and tranquillity for other guests.
